Nagato Yuki Character Intro

Nagato Yuki is another well-known character of “Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu”, well in fact, she is a very popular character and maybe even more popular than Haruhi. She first appeared when Haruhi took over the “Literature Club” room. This process is like this. Haruhi just got the idea from Kyon to set up her own club and thinks it is essential for the club to have a club room of its own. So when she found out that there is a room that is empty, she immediately took control of the room (well if u know Haruhi’s dominating character, this type of situations actually happened many times…). According to Haruhi, when she asked Yuki if she could lend her the room, Yuki said ”go ahead” and that she doesn’t care as long as she can read. Well, Yuki didn’t agree or disagree to join the SOS dan but she just sort of became a member as she can always be found in the SOS dan room.

Whenever in the club room, Yuki is usually reading a book. She is a cool girl, and i meant EXTREMELY cool… u will understand if u watch the anime. She answers most of the questions with just one word or a short sentence. Below is the dialogue between Kyon and Yuki when Haruhi took over the room.

• Kyon: Then, Nagato-san. She’s planning on turning this room into an I-have-no-idea-what club. Is that still okay with you?
• Yuki: Yes.
• Kyon: Well, but…it’ll probably be a huge bother.
• Yuki: Not really.
• Kyon: You might even get chased out.
• Yuki: Go ahead.

u get what i mean? This is especially why Kyon was surprised when Yuki brought him to her house and talked to him about a lot of stuffs. What are they talking about?

Ok the above pic is obviously fake, just look at the weight and u will know. Actually its just something to explain what they are talking about. It really complicated…Yuki explained that she is an artificial human created by “Integrated Data Entity” (she is the alien in the SOS dan) and was assigned to observe Haruhi, who caused an explosioin of data after using her powers to recreate the world 3 years ago. There are some other things which i assume no one will understand it clearly even if the anime was watched many times.

She is able to use magic, referred to as “bogus magic” by Kyon. When fighting the “cave cricket” and during the baseball match, its really cool to watch Yuki recite incantations and casting magic in order to achieve a purpose. She also possesses the ability to learn anything in seconds (be reminded she is an alien). For example, the SOS dan was once challenged by the Computer Club to a battle in-game. Actually the Computer Club was cheating but this was found out by Yuki and she was able to change the system and then use a flawless strategy to defeat the enemy. Another example is that, for the performance of “God Knows” during the concert, Yuki was playing the electric guitar. According to Haruhi, Yuki was able to play the music with the guitar exactly the way the band wants it. Well Kyon knows she is an alien and thinks Yuki probably learnt it the moment she got the guitar…don’t u just wish u have that ability? Then i don’t have to rack my brains over the exam T_T…

Yuki is obedient when orders are given. This obedience most of the time only applies to Kyon. During the competition between SOS dan and Computer Club, Kyon told Yuki not to cheat in the game, including the use of magic. She did so and was still able to defeat the enemies. Another case was during the part of “Remote Island Syndrome”, Kyon asked Yuki not to open the door not matter what. Later when he returned, he wanted Yuki to open it but Yuki still sticks to the previous order and refuse to open the door. Yuki probably had the same expression throughout the whole anime. No smile, no nothing, just an expressionless appearance. But despite her reserved manner, she is reliable and trustworthy, resulting in Kyon trusting her more than other members of the SOS Brigade. I think i just finished the important parts on the intro of Yuki.

Well lets move on to the seiyuu part. Yuki’s seiyuu is Chihara Minori. She is also very famous like just Aya. Many fans like her partly because they think she is very pretty and partly because they think her role as Yuki was FANTASTIC!!! Well overall, i think she has that sweet-looking face which many boys or guys will like, but i’ll just stick with Aya Hirano!!! Of course, Chihara’s role as Yuki was awesome! She really brought Nagato Yuki to life and apart from Haruhi, Yuki is the second character of the anime which i love most! Well i can’t decide between Kyon and Yuki, but i think they are both as great! So i think i’ll just put both of them as my second favourite charactersssss hahaha!
