One Piece - 70

I’m currently watching One Piece and plans to stop temporarily once i reached episode 100. This is so that i can concentrate on Death Note and complete the 37 episodes series. I’ll then resume watching One Piece after that. So far I’ve reached episode 88, considered fast, but anyway, here is a quick review of episode 70.

Ok so Luffy and his gang were already on the Grand Line and reached this island known as Little Garden. Little Garden is a prehistoric island, inhabited with dinosaurs. The above scene is my favourite scene for the episode as it is really funny, Usopp’s cute face adds on to the humour! Both Nami and Usopp are covering their ears because they heard a loud noise in the air. The noise is made by the prehistoric bird shown below, another funny scene in the episode…

The way Sanji scolds the shitty bird is really funny! Oh yea, i forgot to mention a new character, known as Vivi. A beautiful desert princess of the country of Alabasta. Upon reaching Little Garden, Vivi and Luffy went on an “adventure”. Vivi is riding an ostrich-like creature, Carue.

Zoro left the ship for a stroll while Sanji asked him to bring back any edible food. Zoro then said conceitedly that he will bring back some as Sanji is incapable of getting any. Angered by Zoro’s words, they decided to have a hunting contest, the winner is determined based on who got back more kilos, or rather, more tons of meat.

The people left on the ship are none other than Usopp and Nami…

Lol they looked pretty pathetic there. Neither of them are brave enough to leave the boat, therefore, they decided to stay.

Back to Luffy and Vivi. As they went on an adventure, they saw this huge brachiosaurus. Having no sense of fear, Luffy went on to ride this gigantic creature while Vivi and Carue were shocked to see him do that.

Just then, Sanji encounter a T-rex while Zoro met a triceratop. Guess what happens afterwards…

Yup! Both creatures obviously got owned!

By the way, Nami and Usopp were wrong! It is not safe to stay on the ship as well! They watched in fear as an enormous dark figure approaches Going Merry (thats the name of their ship).

Right! End of my quick review! Anyway, now that i’m at episode 88, I already saw this blue nose reindeer known as Chopper. Once i heard his voice, i knew immediately that Seiyuu for Chopper and Gash Bell are the same person! Chopper is almost as cute as Gash Bell!
