Find these faces familiar? Of course, they are from the “Death Note” movie that was screened last year. Tatsuya Fujiwara(left) played the role of Yagami Light (Kira), Kenichi Matsuyama(middle) played the role of L and Erika Toda played the role of Amane Misa.

For me, i’ve watched the 2 “Death Note” movies before i even lay my hands on the anime. However, this movie gave me a rough idea of what the story is about. Since it is considered a 4 hours show, it is expected that the storyline will be quite different to the anime. Even though the show is cut short, i still find the film interesting, probably one of the best movies i’ve watched so far. Every part of the show is able to grab hold of my attention. I felt impelled to pay attention as missing any details may lead to a misunderstanding of the whole story. Its really intriguing to see both Light and L analysing the situation and trying to outwit each other. Must say the measures they took to prevent being killed is really ingenious, something unexpected and not something which most of the people can think of easily.
