What Time Is It? ITS AQUA TIMEZ!!!

This is the 2nd post of the day, this is to make up for the lack of post for the whole week! But believe me, I didn’t just post this entry for the sake of posting it. I’ve planned what to write before I made this entry. Furthermore, I’ll be letting the readers down if I just post one entry per week! Yup, i’ve been busy this whole week, whats worse is, I haven’t watched a single anime episode up till now! T_T… I would have finished “One Piece”! Currently, I’m at episode 320+ now, going to finish it soon, hopefully by this week haha! Ok so anyway, don’t miss out previous entry i made a while ago!!!

Now, back to topic! To those who watch the series “Bleach” and also have an interest in anime music, the name “Aqua Timez” must be pretty familiar to you. Thats right! Aqua Timez is the band who sang the opening “Alones”! Well this opening is quite popular with most of the Bleach fans BUT WAIT!!! Today, I’m not introducing this particular song, but another one which in my opinion, sounds MUCH MUCH MORE BETTER! Frankly speaking, when I first heard “Alones”, I was not impressed at all. However, the song I’m going to introduce today not only gave me a deep impression, but also changed my perception of Aqua Timez. Now you see how powerful this song is! RAWR!!!

Aqua Timez, a group formed in 2000, but renamed themselves as Aqua Timez in 2005. The band is still active till now and had just produced their 5th singles in 2007. “Alones” was actually their fourth singles, yet i’m introducing their second singles, Sen no Yoru wo Koete (a.k.a Passing Over A Thousand Nights). The name itself is already very inspiring, how can one not be touched by the song itself? This song was a success when it was produced. It went on the Oricon singles chart, ranking 5! Such a shame that I heard this song after watching Bleach first movie, “Bleach: Memories of Nobody”.

“Sen no Yoru wo Koete” is the theme song of this Bleach movie. The movie was very touching at the end, this song just further enhanced the effect that could invoke tears!! Its just not fair that Ichigo had to forget Senna T_T. To those who don’t intend to watch this movie, i can only say too bad for you as you have just missed something good. Enough said, now lets listen to this very touching song…

I had a liking for this song since i first heard it. After discovering the english translation of the lyrics, i love it even more! Really meaningful. I’ve heard of cases when some people actually cry after listening to this song. Seriously, read the lyrics carefully, its somewhat sad, touching and yet meaningful at the same time. I’ve found the MV of this song, so, let take a look shall we?

With this, i’ll be looking forward for the next Bleach Movie, “Bleach: The DiamondDust Rebellion”, which already came out in Japan. Sure hope Aqua Timez is the one performing the theme song. However, if thats not the case, i guess i’ll be on the search and listening to some of their other songs. So thats all for now, be sure to savour every part of this song!!
